Sri Lanka Mountain & Forest Trail

Where every trail climbs higher and every summit opens wider.

Sri Lanka’s highlands are a world apart, a land of mist-draped cloud forests, plunging waterfalls, sacred peaks and windswept plateaus where sambar deer graze at the edge of the world. From the ancient cloud forests of the Knuckles to the pre-dawn pilgrimage of Adam’s Peak, from World’s End to Ella Rock, this is Sri Lanka walked, not driven.

Tour Overview

The mountains of Sri Lanka reveal themselves in silence – peak after peak, valley after valley. You trek through forest paths fragrant with damp earth and wild cardamom, stitching together the island’s highland heart: Knuckles’ rugged ridges, sacred Adam’s Peak, misty Horton Plains, the Ella Gap and Belihuloya’s river forests. This continuous green thread is for those who walk with purpose, finding meaning in every hard-won meter of altitude and in the deep, steady breath that follows.
